GLOBAL ART AGENCY AWARDS CEREMONY
Giving Artist & Gallery the recognition that they deserve and acknowledgement for their hard work. The Awards are judged by Curators & Guest Judges. Collectively they judge the participants of the Oxford International Art Fair. The winners will be announced on Sunday 28th February at 16.00pm at the Oxford Town Hall.

THE JUDGES:

Kieran Stiles - Art Gallery owner Kieran Stiles Art Studios. Trained at Falmouth School of Art, and since has had over 20 solo exhibitions and 30 selected group exhibitions in the UK, including many collections of work held internationally. He has maintained his connection with Cornwall and continually returns there to paint. His exuberant and evocative abstractions of rugged coastland, are expressions of his sense of place. Kieran also owns an Art Gallery in central Oxford, where he is known as a passionate tutor of painting and drawing.

Tom Lewis - Rising British art star Tom Lewis famously starring in the BBC television show ‘Junior Apprentice’. The exposure was a turning point in his career, Lewis describes himself as “a premium degree pencil wizard, and mouse master of the first order.” At present he is working as an artist and illustrator in the East End of London. His distinctive works explore “beautiful, nonsensical meaning,” blending elements of ancient mythology traditional oriental design, and contemporary street art.

Esther Lafferty - Festival Director of Oxfordshire Artweeks, the country’s most well established open studios event with over 400 exhibitions and events across the county during May each year. Esther started life as a publisher and event organiser before setting her sights on the art world in which she, to her delight, she has been increasingly engulfed. She contributes regular Art Features for OX magazine and her writing can be spotted elsewhere in the local media.

Gareth Lloyd - Art Consultant at an Oxford High Street Art Gallery. A former soldier who discovered his artistic talent on tour in Iraq, Gareth is now an Oxford based Artist creating endearing wildlife art in pencil and charcoal focusing on capturing the soul and the character of each animal he portrays. With a growing reputation as a realist, Gareth appears regularly in the local media and now receives commissions from international collectors.
